In an unprecedented week of openness, NASA have amazed Ufologists the world over with the release of thousands of Mars images, and the announcement that there is evidence for contemporary liquid water movement on the Martian surface. The timing of these releases cannot be coincidental, begging the question; is there more to come? Ever since the Viking lander experiments seemed to negate the possibility of life existing on the surface of Mars, scientists have distanced themselves from suggestions that Mars is more than just a dead world. With no evidence to back them, NASA scientists have repeatedly stated that dry river beds seen by Mars Global Surveyor were formed billions of years ago, and that any notion of water flow on Mars in recent times was preposterous. The atmospheric conditions simply would not allow water to exist in liquid form, leaving only theoretical underground reservoirs as potential aqueous environments on the Red Planet.

Yet the new Mars Global Surveyor images, held for so long by Malin Space Science Systems of San Diego, California, lead us in an altogether different direction. With their release comes the announcement of gullies where recent flow of water is evident, along with a new model to explain this anomalous finding. Now NASA are talking “life-on-Mars” again. As Dr Weiler of NASA says in the JPL briefing: “The debate has moved to present-day Mars. The presence of liquid water on Mars has profound implications for the question of life not only in the past, but perhaps even today. If life ever did develop there, and if it survives to the present time, then these land-forms would be great places to look.”

The NASA team say that the incidence of the gullies, which are made up of a deep channel with a collapsed region at its upper end and accumulated debris further down the slope, is ‘quite rare’, only a few hundred locations having been discovered so far. From our viewpoint, that makes these gullies commonplace, given how little of Mars has been analyzed to this degree of detail. They are scattered over the Martian surface, implying that these are points where the waters of Mars bubble up occasionally from immense underground aquifiers. This is eerily reminiscent of the science fiction of Kim Stanley Robinson, in his series of books detailing how humans would terra-form Mars. Since the release of 27,500+ high definition images of the Martian surface by Malin, anomalies researchers have been poring over the data in the race to find the best evidence yet of intelligent activity on the red planet. We have not had to wait long.

‘Cosmic Conspiracies’ are excited with the images contained in these pages: Outstanding images of miles of translucent piping in canyons, structured objects in canyons, bright channels winding through the plains (which seem to contain water or ice), and, exclusively to this site, massive dark land-forms that appear to us as ‘writing’ on the Martian surface, an unbelievably clear shot of a 'Dolphin' or 'Whale' in the mountains of Cydonia, and a 'Dome' and 'Crop Circle'. we think you won't find these images anywhere else on the net (not yet anyway).
 

Martin, our diligent Internet researcher, has unearthed these remarkable images from literally thousands released by NASA. The dark patches don’t appear to conform to the terrain, in the sense that they should represent shadowing on the landscape, but appear to be random dark areas that, together, give the impression of unknown letters, or words. We aren’t sure what they are, and would welcome ideas. Check these incredible pictures out for yourselves! So what’s going on here? Are we to believe that NASA had no previous inkling of these anomalous terrain features, including the evidence for the recent movement of liquid water? While the Martian research carried out by anomalies researchers has been largely condemned by NASA scientists, have they really covertly known about this evidence all along? If so, then why is this material surfacing now? What else is being held back? We at ‘Cosmic Conspiracies’ have long argued that the various probes ‘lost’ to Mars may be sending secret information back to a ‘black project’ Mars Mission, over-riding and distorting the findings of civilian NASA scientists. It has been our contention that we have been fed false data, implying that Mars, and the Moon, are lifeless worlds. A tactic designed to bore the public into losing interest in planetary research, and switch attention away from our nearest neighbours. The new evidence seems to bear us out. We refuse to believe that NASA have made a simple mistake with their analysis of Mars up to now. We, with you, await further ‘findings’ with keen interest.

NASA to send plane to Mars in 2003!

An ambitious plan to fly an aircraft in the Martian atmosphere is one project the American space agency NASA has requested funding for in its new budget. The flight would take place in 2003, a hundred years after the Wright brothers' first historic flight. The plan is for the robot aircraft to be sent to Mars on a European Ariane 5 rocket. It would enter the Martian atmosphere inside a heat shield which would then drop away. Parachutes would slow it down to allow large wings to unfold. It would fly over Mars' desert landscape for a few days.
 
 

But on NASA's past attempts, will they be able to land it?

Once again NASA is having to come to terms with failure at the hands of the Red Planet.  Their inability to receive signals from the Mars Polar Lander or its spin-offs, the Deep Space II probes, adds insult to injury after NASA’s loss of its Mars Climate Orbiter earlier this year.  To lose one probe is careless, but to lose all four?  The orbiter’s loss was blamed on a mix-up of measurement scales, an excuse reminiscent of the Rail Industry’s problems with the wrong kind of snow.  Whatever the eventual reason for the loss of the latest probes, NASA can only bite the bullet and watch its budget spiral ever downwards at the hands of a desperately unimpressed Congress. Mars is jinxed.  All 12 Soviet/Russian outings to the red planet have failed, while the American success rate is now a meagre 33%.  Yet the media continues to evade the obvious question: is this bleak pattern of failure indicative of something other than bad luck?  After all, this failure rate is not reflected in the rest of the Space industry, and cannot be solely down to budget cuts when technology in general is getting cheaper.

Scientists are almost unanimous in their opinion that Mars is a dead world.  Dust storms, rocky surfaces and freezing conditions offer ample opportunities for disaster.  But they cannot explain the loss of so many orbiters.  1989 was witness to the most bizarre loss of an orbiting probe, namely the Soviet Phobos II.  Immediately prior to its puzzling cessation of transmission, Phobos II sent back images of an anomalous object between itself and Mars.  The Soviets never released the final half-image transmitted by the spacecraft, aiding speculation that it had been struck by the anomalous usurper.  The whole weird episode was glossed over, and conspiracy theorists once again maligned.  But there is no smoke without fire, and the recent mission failures will simply re-ignite the debate.

The clear implication of what happened to the Soviet craft is that there is an intelligent presence on Mars defending itself against our unwelcome intrusion.  They may also be tracking and destroying the probes that enter their atmosphere.  This is highly controversial and lacks the supportive evidence to make it an acceptable paradigm for most people.  NASA has successfully rebutted the theories of artificial structures with the release of the Mars Global Surveyor images of Cydonia.  But while “The Face” has attracted the most media attention, various anomalies on photos of Mars and the Moon have been in the public domain for years.  It could be argued that the latest data from these sites has simply been better “managed” this time around.

NASA did not directly receive the data from its recent surveys of the Moon or Mars.  The former data was collected by the Clementine probe, managed by the Department of Defence, the latter involved vetting of the Global Surveyor data by Malin Space Sciences System of San Diego, Ca.  Why?  Perhaps because those in the know didn’t want NASA to once again release of photos that would become sensitive through independent analysis.  So with these dubious conduits in place, can anyone really trust any of the data anymore?  Well, yes, if the data goes straight to NASA scientists and is openly distributed thereafter.  But we’re back full circle, because these missions are floundering.

One of the problems here is that once you smell a rat, then you find an epidemic of vermin.  Perhaps that is why conspiracy theory gets such a bad name.  If NASA were to receive sensitive information which they then fail to manage properly, then maybe the data coming back from these lost probes is simply being intercepted and relayed to another authority.  Further advantage could also be gained through discrediting the incompetent NASA, resulting in an erosion of civilian input into space exploration.  This helps to maintain the military’s control of space and, therefore, the Big Secret.

Of course, the likelihood is that all the problems with exploring Mars are simply down to our inherent human weakness and inclination towards error.  Budget cuts could well have taken their toll.  But if that is so, then why does our generation find it so difficult to put a couple of probes into action around Mars, despite all the advantages of computers and 30 years of space technology advancement, when our predecessors successfully landed men on the Moon in a tin can?  For me, at least, the conspiracy theory is an easier pill to swallow.

	The amazing picture here was recently found by Dr Tom Van Flandern, and received worldwide coverage in the news and media. It seems to show a face with a crown on it. Dr Van Flanderns site also has many other interesting Mars discoveries and I have provided a link at the bottom of the page for anyone interested in visiting his site.
	'Nefertiti face': This anomaly shows an amazing degree of detail present. Even features as small as the eyelashes over the eye, visible in the artists inset on the right, are present at the site where this anomaly appears!

This picture is the original 'Dolphin' anomaly found on Mars.  This is meant to represent the  departure of the Dolphin, before the arrival of Nibiru!	Surely this 'Anchor-like' anomaly cannot be natural?

Whilst looking through a few of the new Mars Surveyor images released by Malin, we came across this anomaly that looks like a 'crusader' with a sword and shield. This strange 'Dolphin' structure is near The Cydonia Region, and was found by us last year while looking through the Malin pictures. Again this is an exclusive  to this site!!!  (Click on the picture to view the  original MGS shot).	Does this picture show a cigar-shaped craft in a crater?

The Mars Global Surveyor has been very busy of late.  It re-photographed the Cydonia region of the Mars plains on 5th April 1998, a controversial area which includes such apparently artificial structures as The Face, the Fortress, the D&M Pyramid and the City Square.  These highly anomalous structures were originally gleaned from the Viking footage of 1976.  I refer interested parties to the work of Richard Hoagland and colleagues who have reviewed and extended the work of the early Cydonia researchers Messieurs Dipietro and Molenaar .  This issue is a contentious one, for which I don’t pretend to be an expert, but I would like to offer a few observations: The layout of the structures at Cydonia bear mathematical and geometrically accurate relationships to on another the seem well beyond the realm of chance.

The Mariner photographs were taken from the zenith, whereas those released from Global Surveyor were taken from a more horizontal inclination, thereby moving the goalposts considerably. The images from the Global Surveyor were vetted by Dr Malin prior to their arrival on the desks of NASA scientists.
However, the Global Surveyor images were certainly not good news for advocates of artificiality.  They appeared in the media with the air of finality as another “hoaky” (Hoagy?) theory bites the dust.  The conventional media love this sort of thing, because it allows them to exercise the sort of high and mighty judgementalism that is their trademark in dealing with “crank” theories.
